The 2nd International Competition of the Journées de musiques anciennes is open to the soloists, instrumental and vocal ensembles which directory is dedicated to the musics of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance (from 1350 till 1650).
The competition takes place every year. The 2017 event will be held on November 15th and 16th, 2017.
The finale is in public: we are expecting you on November 16th, 2017 in the evening to attend it, in the auditorium of the building Louis Hachette.

Organized by the association Tourmaline in partnership with Hachette Livre, the competition aims at promoting othe young emergent European artists.
The jury is consists of musicians and personalities stemming from early music.
The composition of the jury will soon be disponible.
1st prize : 3 000 €
+ 1 concert at the 2018 Journées de musiques anciennes festival
+ 1 concert at the Sablé-sur-Sarthe festival
2nd prize : 1 500 €

Which can compete?
Le 2ème Concours International des Journées de musiques anciennes is opened to all the instrumental and vocal music ensembles of a maximum of 6 people.
Which répertoire ?
The répertoire is dedicated to music from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance (from 1350 to 1650).
How to participate ?
The full registration (registration form, fee, audios files, programs, photos, IDs...) have to be done before October 8, 2017 online, by e-mail or mail.
